" I grew up surrounded by the quiet beauty of the Himalayas — where food was never rushed, and every meal told a story. I still remember the comforting smell of ghee melting on hot rotis, the taste of sun-ripened pickles made by my grandmother, and the laughter that filled our kitchen. As life moved faster, I longed for that simplicity again — the kind of food made with care, patience, and love. That longing became Pahadi Pantry. Through this journey, my hope is to share a piece of our mountain life with you — food made by the gentle hands of our elders, using time-honoured recipes that have nourished generations.
